The Village Journal Says Goodbye
12 years ago, The Village Journal was launched in the Cacciatore pizza shop in Haile Village Center with the idea that the exchange of news and ideas is central to the growth of a community. From these humble beginnings, articles, advertisers and marketing materials were compiled for what would become The Village Journal at Haile Plantation. As the community grew, so did the magazine. Since 2005, The Village Journal has celebrated a zest for living, sparked the exchange of ideas, introduced new members of the community, and explored new experiences for our readers.
The success of The Village Journal eventually led to the launch of a new business venture – Frankel Media Group. Having experienced remarkable growth over the course of the years, we feel it is time we shift our full focus solely to the continued growth of the agency. It is with these priorities in mind that we announce that Vol.13 No.2 of The Village Journal will be the last issue of our publication. This was by no means an easy decision, but it was the right one for our company. While we’re excited to embrace a new era for the agency, the feeling is bittersweet. The Village Journal gave us our start, and we’re very grateful for the opportunity to have showcased our wonderful community throughout the years.
Thank you for your support and readership throughout the years. With your help, The Village Journal became the central lifestyle publication for Haile Plantation and readers throughout Gainesville.
Please know that the discontinuation of The Village Journal does not mean the end of our enthusiastic involvement in our local community. Keep your eye out – exciting things are on the horizon! We hope to see you soon.
